This circular brooch depicts an enamelled depicting of a lady in oriental costume, wearing a gold cloak, a red headdress, and a diamond encrusted head piece. The background has been painted black, dotted with little gold stars.

Age: Late 19th Century, also known as the Victorian era, circa 1890s.
Material: Hallmarked for 14k gold.
Condition: In antique condition with minor wear, consistent with age. There is a bit of enamel missing above the lady's head, and just above her right shoulder, whicm eans two stars are missing: this is not very visible when worn. The brooch fitting was added at a later date, meaning that this might have been a different jewel in the past, possible a clasp.
