These rose-cut diamond earrings were likely originally part of a larger pair of earrings in the 18th Century but were -badly- remodeled into a brooch somewhere in the past. When I found them, I decided to convert them back into earrings, by adding two silver posts.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Size: 16 x 15 mm.
Weight: Combined 4.67 grams.
Age: 18th Century, also known as the Georgian era, circa 1760s. They were converted into earrings by me.
Material: Acid tested as silver: they will be delivered with a pair of plastic disc stoppers, which helps them sit well on your lobe.
Condition: In good antique condition with some wear, consistent with their age. The foils behind the diamonds have discoloured over time, which gives them a slightly greyish appearance.
