These lovely boxes form an adorable set! Each box has an ormolu mount that is fitted with panels of a different variety of agate: two varieties of moss agate and a banded agate. The medium and small box both have semi-transparent agate panels, which means that they look particularly lovely when opened, when light can fall through the panels.

Condition: The smallest box is in great antique condition with only minor wear, consistent with age.
The medium box is in good antique condition, with one of the four feet slightly higher than the other three, which makes it a bit wobbly.
The largest box is in antique condition with some damages: there is a fine hairline crack in both the top and bottom panel. Because of the crack in the bottom panel, the side panels sit secure but a bit loose in their mounting. One of the round feet sits slightly higher, making it a bit wobbly. The hairlines are difficult to see but still important to notice before deciding to purchase: these can be observed in the two last pictures.
