This highly unusual ring is set with a triangle table-cut topaz, which has a piece of orangy-pinkish foil placed behind it. Originally this foil was likely of a deeper colour, and was placed to enhance its colour. It is flanked by two cabochon-cut turquoise. The shank is made from 18k gold, while the settings are made from silver, which is customary for this era.
