GENERAL INFORMATION
Size: US 6.25, UK M, circumference 53 mm.
The front setting measures 32 x 18 mm.
I would advise against resizing this ring.
The box measures 44 x 27 x 29 mm.
Weight: 6.10 grams
Age: 18th Century, also known as the Georgian era, circa 1760s.
Hallmarks: Acid tested as being between 10k and 14k gold.
Condition: In antique condition with minor signs of wear, consistent with its age. The back of the shank shows signs of the ring being sized down, and a small extra piece of gold was soldered on the inside to size it. Since it is always a bit of a gamble tampering with old repairs, I would advise against resizing this ring.
