This unique yellow gold bangle bracelet has a flexible front, set with numerous rose-cut diamonds. I have never seen a blend of a flexible link bracelet with a bangle bracelet in this way. My theory is that the center was originally part of a link bracelet, which was 'converted' into this rigid bangle.
The front is set with 27 rose-cut diamonds of various shapes and sizes. The two large, pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds that flank the center each measure 7 x 6 mm and each have an estimated weight of 0.61 carats. Although it is notoriously difficult to calculate rose-cut diamonds, I estimate the total carat weight to be around 1.50 carats.
The bracelet closes with a box clasp and has two safety catches, that prevent it from slipping off unnoticed.
