The open, flowing design is typical of the romantic Garland Style that was very popular at the end of the 19th Century, the era we now know as the Belle Epoque.
It is set with four opals, three of which form a lucky clover design in the middle, and one dangling as a drop at the bottom. The design is further set with 14 old mine-cut and rose-cut diamonds.
