This 18kt yellow gold ring was made as a remembrance of a dearly beloved. It has a small scalloped-shaped decoration at the top and bottom, and is inscribed 'Souvenir de - Paul 1833'.
The front of the ring band can be opened and reveals the inside of the band. Originally, this part would have contained a band of braided hair, but now it is very suitable to for instance engrave a personal message.
