This 14k yellow gold cluster ring is centered by a cushion-cut ruby of circa 0.17 carats, encircled by ten tiny old mine-cut diamonds, with a combined estimated weight of 0.10 carats. All diamonds have been hand-cut and are therefore each a bit different from the next. All gemstones have been placed in open settings, allowing light to pass through the stones. Because the setting of the ruby is semi-closed at the back, I could not determine with certainty if it is synthetic or natural.
