This sterling silver shell-shaped jewellery box, standing on four tiny feet, is lined with a blue velvet interior. It has five slots for rings and a little lowered compartment for other jewels. The interior can be gently removed from the silver frame, making the frame easier to clean.
The lid is hallmarked for 925/1000 silver, Birmingham, 1910, and the maker Deakin & Francis Ltd.
Dimensions: 94 x 114 x 54 mm.
Condition: In antique condition with signs of use, consistent with its age. The silver has some knicks, a few cracks, and the front left leg was replaced at some point in the past. Please take a look at the pictures closely for a good overview of its condition.
