This 14k yellow gold ring is set with a large, cabochon-cut labradorite which has been carved into a floral pattern.
Labradorite is a variety of the mineral feldspar and is known for its iridescence, an effect known as labradorescence. When you turn the ring around, you will notice how the light catches the stone, changing its colour from a matt grey-green into a burst of bright, oil-like colours.
